About Biz Basketball
A court full of people
who build things
YYC Biz Basketball started with three friends and a simple idea: the best professional relationships in Calgary start over a game, not a handshake. Every run brings together founders, operators, creatives and leaders for two hours of pickup basketball and the conversations that follow.
Create your profile once, register for any future run in a click, and stay connected to the community between events through our member directory.
All skill levels
Beginner, recreational or experienced — the run is built for everyone.
Real connections
Networking that happens naturally, with no pitch decks required.
How it works
Three steps to your first run
01
Create your profile
One sign-up, sixty seconds. Tell us what you do, what you're building and who you'd like to meet.
02
Register for a run
Pick the next date, lock your spot with one click, and we'll handle capacity and the waitlist.
03
Play and connect
Two hours of basketball, then stay for the room. Use the member directory to follow up after.
The community
More than a pickup game
Our runs bring together people from every corner of Calgary's business community — software founders, trades, finance, healthcare, hospitality and everything in between. Some come for the competition. Most come back for the people.
