Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy explains what happens when you cancel a spot on a run, or when an organizer has to cancel or reschedule an event. It is displayed before any paid checkout.
Free events
If you cannot attend, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible so the spot can be offered to someone else. Cancelled spaces may be offered to waitlisted members.
Paid events
Unless a specific event states otherwise:
- Cancellation at least 48 hours before the event: full refund.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of the event: generally non-refundable.
- Registration transfers may be approved by organizers.
- No-shows are generally non-refundable.
These conditions do not override refund rights required by applicable law.
Organizer cancellation
If YYC Biz Basketball cancels a paid event, participants receive a full refund of the event registration fee.
If an event is rescheduled, participants may accept the new date or request a refund.
Waitlists
Joining a waitlist does not guarantee admission to an event.
How to cancel
Registrations can be cancelled from your member dashboard, or by emailing the organizers with the event name on the registration.
